International strategy
We look for partners through etwinning platform, our partner companies with branches in EU countries and contacts provided by our national agency. If collaboration involves study mobilities we ́ll seek after HEIs that teach lessons whose content resembles that of our institution; if it involves traineeship mobility, the companies should commit to students can develop the training program.
Training students
The goal of our organization is that our students can develop traineeship mobility in any country of the EU. In order to reward their excellence at the highest level, it will be offered the possibility of getting Erasmus scholarships to students who can show a good attainment level of theoretical teaching. They must also demonstrate a good knowledge of English or French, depending on the selected country to develop the traineeship. Prior to the initiation of their working term our school will reinforce these skills through an intensive warm-up course. In order to choose the best students, teachers fill out a form that will consider their grades, their spoken and written English or French level, their class attitude and their motivation to participate in this program. This form allows the coordinator to give a score to each candidate.
The objectives are:
•To improve the quality and attractiveness of the vocational training studies, preventing early school dropout. Professional training studies focus on know-how with a view to improving teaching standards so as to make this type of studies more attractive for those students having finished their upper secondary studies and who expect a quick access to the job market rather than to university or college studies.
•A lengthening of the studies by training contributes to the priority: improving educational level and the social dimension of education.
•A major cooperation between companies and students in order to evaluate how adequate vocational education is to the labour market’s requirements, both on a domestic and international basis. The Erasmus Charter will encourage cooperation between vocational education school-leavers and companies for an assessment of the applicability of the skills learned at school.
•To stimulate the learning of foreign languages and the acceptance of linguistic diversity. As European citizens students should not limit themselves to their own mother language. This notion is to be strengthened. Learning foreign languages is instrumental in the understanding of customs, culture and ways of working in other countries. Thus the stay abroad will be as enriching as it can be.
•To promote a greater participation of people with special needs and disfavoured classes in the LLP’s as our school is specialized in this kind of people.
Vocational training students
The goal is the students can study in another HEI from the EU several or the whole of subjects taught in our school. Host institution must have Erasmus Charter and impart subjects similar to those of ours. The same standards of excellence will be required thus teachers have to fill out the same form described above.
The objectives are:
••To improve the quality of vocational training studies. In a highly internationalized world, another point of view of the subjects taught in our school should be shown to our students.
••To keep an open and receptive mind to new administrative and marketing techniques using in other countries.
Vocational training teachers
The goal is our vocational training teachers take contact with other EU education systems, knowing how they work and instruct in collaborating institution. After this experience, teachers bring new ideas and techniques learned in these countries that can help to modernize and to internationalize our school. Consequently, it will generate a flow of contacts and visits between partners. We use etwinning platform and support of our national agency to find destinations for these mobilities
Administrative Staff
The goal is to familiarize with the bureaucracy that this kind of scholarships originates in other HEI and how they solve the problems, give original solutions in their daily work and also become familiar with the new tools that can be applied. We use etwinning platform and support of our national agency to find destination for these mobilities.
